GOEZ started with two matcha lovers in their twenties, and one simple question:

Why was it so hard to find a matcha brand that actually made us excited to drink matcha?

Everything felt either too traditional, too serious, or simply… boring. So we created the kind of matcha we had been looking for ourselves.

After tasting countless varieties and working with suppliers in Japan, we found the one. We started sharing it with friends, who shared it with their friends, and before we knew it, GOEZ was born.

We keep things simple. No endless varieties. Just one ceremonial matcha we’re completely obsessed with.

For us, matcha isn’t just a drink, it’s part of enjoying life. Whether it’s a productive morning, an iced matcha on a hot beachday, a slow weekend brunch with friends, or a busy day that needs a little extra energy, there’s always a good moment for matcha.

Unlike coffee, matcha gives us calm, long-lasting energy without the jitters or afternoon crash. That’s why it became part of our everyday lives, and why we wanted to share it with others.

GOEZ reflects who we are. We didn’t want a brand that felt too serious or looked like every other matcha brand. We wanted something colourful, playful and full of personality.
