Our aim is to let everyone experience the delicious umami taste of a good cup of matcha. On top of that, people will benefit from all the health advantages of the green gold known as matcha.
The faces behind Goez
Goez is founded by a young couple in their twenties with a shared love for matcha. Fueled by our daily matcha rituals, we are eager to pass on this healthy habit to others.
Our adventure began in September 2023, and Goez is now a regular part of some people's mornings, kitchens, and even a few bars. Join us on this exciting ride! We can't wait to see what the future holds for Goez.

1. Making the Perfect Mix: They know that keeping the quality of matcha consistent is important. So, they blend leaves from different places like Shizuoka and Kagoshima. This way, no matter what the weather’s like, their matcha always tastes great.
2. A Family Thing: Matcha is a big deal in their family. Being a family business, they’ve grown up with matcha and know what’s good. Their tea-making skills have been passed down from one generation to the next. The current tea expert, who’s the third generation president, learned from watching his dad and grandad. This family tradition means their matcha is made with lots of care and experience.
3. Caring for the Earth: They work closely with farmers and support initiatives like the Chagusaba method to preserve Japan’s tea culture for the future. The Chagusaba method involves creating grasslands around the tea fields, which serve as a natural mulch source. The grass is harvested in the fall, dried, and then spread over the tea field, enriching the soil and promoting healthy tea growth. Additionally, their factory operates solely on 100% green energy, further demonstrating their commitment to environmental responsibility.
